Empowering Universities Through Self-Evaluation

The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and the Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia (CEMCA) have joined hands to provide a platform for self-evaluation of online programs offered by Indian Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), aligning with NEP 2020.

This assessment is conducted in two phases:

🔹 Phase 1 – Universities will share this survey with their online students. Once completed by a significant number of students, the student responses will generate a benchmarking score, which will serve as the foundation for further evaluation.

🔹 Phase 2 – Universities will access the student survey results and complete their self-assessments. This phase will provide critical insights into areas of improvement, helping institutions refine their online programs and align them with global best practices.

Survey Process

Phase 1 – Students participate in the survey:

🔒 Confidentiality: All data will be kept strictly confidential and will only be used for academic research purposes. The data of one university shall not be visible to any other university.
📁 Data Access: Student responses will be accessible only to their respective universities and will not be shared externally.
📊 Survey Completion Requirement: A minimum of 150 student responses must be collected before universities can access and utilize the results for Phase 2.
